Cutie Mark/Special Talent: An apple caught by a lasso, because Nick is a genius with the lasso seeing as Earth ponies can't exactly catch things with magic so he learned how to use a lasso for that.

Nickajack is named after a kind of apple. Love that there's an apple named nickajack, it's the perfect name for an Applejack son.
Seeing as his big sister Zap Appledash doesn't particularly care to spend time with him and rather has her head in the clouds - quite literally so - he found own things to entertain himself without relying on his big sister.
He loves the cowboy look and spending time with her mama's cousin Braeburn. One day when he's older, he wants to move to Appleoosa and become a real, big cowboy. But as things are, the little one uses his lasso skills mostly for the harvest at the farm. Even though there are a lot of Apples living at the farm at this point - Applejack and her family, Big Mac and his family and Braeburn and his family - every Apple still has to do their chores and help to get things done. The farm is larger by now too, also more profitable.
When he's not doing chores or training to be a cowboy, he's usually doing mischief with the Pie twins Blueberry and Peanut, or he's out with the new Cutie Mark Crusaders.
