Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A diadem. Big shocker there, eh? Always wondered why/how that was Diamond Tiara's special talent, but in Diadem's case, it's for leadership. A princess is a leader and even though Diadem isn't the founder of the new Cutie Mark Crusaders, she becomes their leader.

Snips' cutie mark is a pair of scissors and I always wondered what that may mean. So, my headcanon has it that these scissors relate to cutting fabric and Snips ends up working at Rarity's boutique later on. So does Diamond Tiara, because I think she'll develop a keen fashion sense and due to her developing friendship with Sweetie Belle & company, Rarity feels obliged to give the girl a chance. That's how Snips and Diamond Tiara meet again, years after Cheerilee's classes. Over long hours in the boutique, they slowly fall in love.
Diamond Diadem may not be a real princess, but she damn well is to her parents. Since we saw that Diamond Tiara's character was so nasty due to her mother's bad parenting, I think that Diamond Tiara will be a very sweet, attentive and caring mother - basically, trying to be everything her own mother never was. And Snips carries his little girl on his shoulders anyway.
Since both of her parents work for Rarity, Diamond Diadem has known Rarity's daughter Snazzy Sapphire for all of her life and the two had been best friends since they could walk, really. So when Snazzy Sapphire's cousin Swan Song decides to assemble her own Cutie Mark Crusaders, Diamond Diadem is more than eager to also join in on the fun.
But with Swan Song and Ozark Oak both being the ones who came up with the idea, as well as Thunder Cloud also being a daughter of one of the original Cutie Mark Crusaders, decision-making is always a bit of a problem. There's always a lot of fighting about who their leader is. Until Diadem takes that role into her own hoofs - and she's darn good at it.
